Privacy
Layoff Atlas does not require an account and does not use advertising cookies. It displays public employer and facility information from government WARN sources and attributed licensed secondary reports.
Information processed
Public page URLs may be submitted to participating search engines through IndexNow when their public content changes; no correction content or contact details are included. Search and filters request aggregated results from our public service and are represented in page URLs. The hosting provider may process request logs, IP addresses and technical diagnostics to operate and secure the service. We do not sell personal information.
Correction submissions contain the filing ID, explanation and optional email address you provide. Do not submit employee names, confidential information or sensitive personal details. A hash of a request IP is used for short-lived abuse rate limits. Correction details are stored privately and are not shown publicly.
Retention and requests
Source snapshots and notice revisions are retained for provenance. Correction messages are kept for review and source reconciliation. Optional contact details should be used only to clarify a submission.
Use the Corrections form to request removal of personal information inadvertently submitted. Public WARN records may remain available at their official source even if a field is removed from this atlas.
