Code R. § 12‐506‐7 and Chapter 394B of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, this letter serves as written notice of a partial closing at First Insurance Company of Hawaii, Ltd. (“FICOH”), a covered establishment located at 1100 Ward Ave, Honolulu, HI 96814. FICOH has 212 employees. As part of ongoing efforts to align its business operations with evolving market demands and strategic priorities, FICOH is making changes to its approach to flood insurance services. As a result of this shift in strategy, there will no longer be a need for roles primarily handling flood business, effective on or after October 1, 2026. Written notice in accordance with Haw. Code R. § 12‐506‐7 has been provided to the three (3) employees whose roles will be eliminated as a result of the partial closing.
